The flag of Ukraine was installed on the border of Donetsk region and Kharkiv region
On September 20, the leadership of Donetsk OVA led by Pavel Kirilenko, together with First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Yenin, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk and heads of law enforcement agencies visited settlements in Donetsk region, where on the border of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions were established The flag of Ukraine is presented.
This was made possible thanks to the liberation of a section of the Kuiv-Hapkiv-Dovzhánc'kyj highway by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which in heavy fighting forced the Russian occupiers to retreat from there.
Therefore, in the territories liberated from the enemy, work began on the demining of terrain, critical infrastructure, residential buildings and roads, and a law order is being organized to ensure the safe work of specialists involved in restoring the life support of settlements.
In order to assess the scale of the demining work, the leadership of Donetsk OVA and the Ministry of Internal Affairs traveled to Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Slavyansk and Konstantinovka, where they also met with personnel who selflessly performed their official duties in the conditions of war.
The head of the State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk noted that the occupiers are constantly conducting shelling, while destroying fire units and destroying fire and rescue equipment. And even under such conditions, the personnel of the Rescue Service remain true to the oath and help the inhabitants of the affected settlements.
On this day, the courage of the rescuers of the East was recognized with state and departmental awards.
