Drug dealers who sold cocaine for 8 million hryvnias a month were detained in Lviv region
The group consisted of residents of Lviv and Ternopil regions. Some participants were responsible for the supply of goods, others — for sales in the territory of Lviv region.
Initially, the police established cocaine dealers and channels of sale. Then we went to the organizers. Organized the activities of the group by a resident of the Ternopil region. On his instructions, a resident of this region delivered goods in bulk to Lviv region and handed it over to the co-organizer who was responsible for sales. Two people were engaged in the packaging of the “goods”. They sold the finished drug “hand to hand” at a price of $100 per gram.
Every month, the members of the criminal group sold up to two kg of cocaine and received up to 8 million UAH of “profit”. Part of the funds went to purchase new batches of goods and “wages” to the members of the group. The rest - the organizers used for their comfortable life.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations, police investigators with the strong support of a special purpose police battalion and with the assistance of employees of the regional department for combating drug crimes detained one of the organizers and three members of the criminal group.
According to the results of searches, law enforcement officers seized 200 g of cocaine, four plastic buckets with hemp inflorescences, (cones), cash in different currencies, “rough” records.
For the illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, imprisonment for a period of nine to twelve years with confiscation of property is provided.
