In Lviv region, the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously) was awarded to the families of the dead soldiers
The head of the Western Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine Brigadier General Oleksandr Buravkov, together with the leadership of the Lviv OVA today presented state awards to three families of defenders who gave their lives in the fight against the Russian invaders.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Recognition of State Awards of Ukraine” dated 16.08.2022, according to the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously), soldier Roman Myskiv — gunner (assistant machine-gunner) of the operational battalion was awarded with the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously). He was born in the village of Pomoryany, Zolochiv district. The Hero Award was presented to Oksana Vasilyevna's mother.
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Celebration of State Awards of Ukraine” dated 27.12.2022 No. 890/2022, the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously) awarded Major Yuriy Hulyk — First Deputy Commander — Chief of Staff of the Rifle Battalion. Yuriy is from Zolochev. The husband has a wife and three children. The father's award was received by his youngest daughter Maria.
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Celebration of State Awards of Ukraine” dated 27.12.2022 No. 891/2022, the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously) awarded soldier Bohdan Murin — assistant grenade launcher of the operational battalion. I come from the village of Pidhaychyky, Lviv district. The award was presented to mother Ekaterina Petrovna.
