In Lviv region, border guards stopped two men who tried to export currency worth more than 3.8 million hryvnias
A Volkswagen minibus arrived at the Sheginy checkpoint in Lviv region, followed by 39-year-old and 42-year-old Ukrainians to the neighboring country. During the inspection of the car, border guards together with customs officers in passengers' bags found undeclared funds in different currencies.
In two bags, the men hid 104,700 euros, 2,600 US dollars and 3,560 Polish zlotys, which at the exchange rate of the NBU amounts to more than 3 million 800 thousand hryvnias. On this fact, customs officers drew up a protocol. The detected funds are withdrawn in the prescribed manner.
