Two minibuses with hidden products were stopped at the border with Poland
A batch of dairy products and sweets, which were tried to be illegally imported into Ukraine, was discovered by border guards together with customs officers at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
Two minibuses stopped for inspection at the Krakivets checkpoint last night. A 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman chose the “green corridor” lane to pass control arrived at the same time.
However, during the inspection of the vehicles, the inspection team found a large amount of hidden goods. In particular, the Renault driver hid the products in a specially equipped storage compartment between the passenger and cargo compartments. Her accomplice, the driver of the Opel, placed food products under the passenger seat of the minibus.
In total, a man and a woman tried to hide from control more than 1,500 units of dairy products and more than 600 packs of candy.
According to these facts, a protocol has been drawn up. The goods were seized by customs officers, the amount of its assessment will be established additionally. Because of her “cleverness”, the woman also got rid of the minibus.
