At the border with Poland, a Ukrainian found a batch of electronic cigarettes worth UAH 4 million
The attempt to illegally move electronic cigarettes was stopped at the checkpoint “Shegini”.
The Mercedes minibus, driven by a 35-year-old man, was heading to Ukraine. At the initiative of the border guards of the operational-search unit of the Lviv Detachment, the car was sent for additional inspection.
During a joint inspection with customs officers, law enforcement officers found undeclared goods among passengers' personal belongings. In the luggage compartment of the minibus, a resident of Lviv region hid 75 boxes of electronic cigarettes.
At market prices, their estimated value is 4 million hryvnias. On this fact, customs officers drew up a protocol. Cigarettes are withdrawn in the prescribed manner.
