At the border with Poland, border guards stopped a car with which businessmen tried to transport medical drugs worth more than a million hryvnias

The man tried to illegally transport 3.8 thousand blisters of medical drugs through the checkpoint “Nizhankovichi”.
On the way to the neighboring country was followed by a Renault truck driven by a 46-year-old resident of Lviv region.
Based on the analysis and assessment of the risks, the border guard, together with the customs officer, carried out its inspection. During the inspection, three boxes with medical products were found attached under the bottom of the trailer.
On this fact, customs officers drew up a protocol. The tablets are withdrawn in the prescribed manner. The preliminary cost is 1 147 600 hryvnia.
