At the border, the driver tried to “divide” 2 million rubles of the Russian Federation between three passengers
At the ferry crossing point “Orlivka”, border guards of the Izmail detachment together with customs officers discovered Russian rubles that were illegally exported to Romania.
Behind the wheel of the Toyota car was a 58-year-old driver, a citizen of Ukraine, choosing the “green corridor” lane at the checkpoint.
During the inspection, she said that she was carrying with her 2 million Russian rubles, but they belonged not only to her, but also to three of her fellow passengers. However, during the conversation, the passengers told the border guards that the funds were not theirs.
On this fact, a protocol was drawn up on violation of customs rules under Art. 471 Customs Code of Ukraine. Cash exceeding the allowable amount in the amount of 1 million 295 thousand Russian rubles was withdrawn before the court decision.
