Another mass burial was found in Kyiv region, all bodies have signs of torture
Deputy Chief of Police of Kyiv Region Maxim Ocheretiani said that 1202 Ukrainian citizens have been killed in Kyiv region so far, their identities have already been established. About 280 people remain unidentified. 148 people were found in mass burials.
He said this during a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.
“The atrocities of the occupiers are astonishing. Currently, 8 mass burials have been found in the area. They contained the bodies of about 148 people. The largest number of “mass graves” in the Buchansky district. Forensic experts are working to thaw the circumstances of the death. The last burial was found at the positions of the Russians. These are civilians who have signs of torture — tied arms, legs, shot legs. They were killed with a shot in the head,” he added.
For now, police are continuing to search the grounds — and now even more information is coming in about the burial. In the future, these bodies will also exhume:
“The police have already documented more than three thousand criminal proceedings of war crimes by the Russian occupier.”
