Large-scale training of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in Kyiv region
During the tactical and special exercises held today, February 4 in the city. Pripyat, guards, police and rescuers worked out actions in the event of a crisis situation and fought in the urbanized area.
The exercises were attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, ambassadors of foreign countries and representatives of partner countries.
Guards, policemen and rescuers worked out the coordination of actions during the implementation of tasks for the defense of the settlement, the tactics of conducting hostilities in the urbanized area and the elimination of their consequences.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky noted that such large-scale exercises on the territory of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone are being conducted for the first time.
“The training once again confirmed the coherence and interaction of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the specifics of the work of each unit in the most difficult situations to overcome various kinds of dangers,” Denis Monastyrsky stressed.
In particular, the conduct of aerial reconnaissance, the work of a sniper group, the conduct of street combat and the destruction of the retreating enemy were worked out. Separately, the storming of the building was worked out.
The final stages of the exercises were the provision of first medical aid, the evacuation of the wounded and the clearing of the settlement from mines and explosives and the elimination of the consequences of hostilities.
