In Kyiv region, police accuse an official of appropriating funds that were for the restoration of a building in Irpen
Law enforcement officers of the Buchansky Department of the Kyiv Police Department established that in August 2022, one of the municipal enterprises of Irpen concluded a contract for the repair of the premises of an administrative building damaged during hostilities.
In November of the same year, the director of the contracting company entered inaccurate data on the volume of construction work in the act of work performed. Thus appropriating almost 137 thousand hryvnias.
In addition, law enforcement officers established that an official who is a technical supervision engineer, having received for inspection and approval a forged certificate of acceptance of completed construction work for November 2022 from the contractor, certified the volumes of completed and transferred to the customer for acceptance and payment for construction work.
On the facts of drawing up knowingly false official documents by an official, entering knowingly false information into official documents and appropriating someone else's property by abusing his official position, committed under the conditions of martial law, according to the procedural guidance of the Buchanskaya district prosecutor the investigators sent the indictment to the court against the head of the company under Part 1 of Art. 366, Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At the same time, a 50-year-old official will be punished for official negligence in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
