In Donetsk region, all children were evacuated from the Mariinsky and Ocheretyn communities
The fifth stage of forced evacuation of children from the combat zone is taking place in Donetsk region. The rescue of minors from the Toretsk community continues. 73 children are now safe.
The “White Angel” police groups together with the employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, officers of the patrol police, security police and representatives of the military administrations removed all families with children from 9 settlements of the Mariinsky and Ocheretin communities, which are under round-the-clock shelling by the Russians.
Among the evacuees was 8-year-old Elena. The girl and her parents have to leave home for the second time. Previously, the family lived in Krasnogorovka, but due to constant shelling, they left for the safer village of Zoryane. However, the occupiers began shelling this settlement as well. Enemy shells repeatedly exploded near the family home, and residents were forced to hide in the basement. Due to the aggravation of the situation and the approaching front line, the family agreed to evacuate outside the Donetsk region.
The departure of the family was organized by the “White Angels” together with the public formation “Chaplain Patrol”. The girl was dressed in a special children's vest, and she took her friend with her - the parrot Kesha. For now, the family is adjusting their lives in a safe region of the country.
The police urge parents to evacuate children from frontline settlements, because staying is deadly dangerous.
