In Donetsk region, police rescued 800 wounded and sick civilians
First aid to people is provided by 5 crews of the “White Angels” and 12 groups of paramedics. If necessary, additional teams with experience in tactical medicine are involved in emergency situations.
“White Angels” and paramedics have the skills to save the lives of people with severe bleeding, mine-blast injuries. They always arrive at the scene of the tragedy one of the first.
So, it was paramedics who managed to save injured children near a store in Konstantinovka and seven people at the ruins of a pizzeria in Kramatorsk.
However, Russia kills not only with shells. On the verge of death are people with disabilities or diseases left in front-line settlements, where there are no longer doctors.
Among those who were helped to survive by the “White Angels” are a sick elderly woman who lived in a house destroyed and half-burned by the occupiers, and a man who has not been up for 5 years and spent the last year in complete darkness due to the aggressor's fault.
In order to save their compatriots, law enforcement officers risk their own lives. Only the “White Angels” came under fire at least 6 times, were wounded. But again and again they go where they are needed.
