The suspect damaged the flagpoles of the state flags installed on the graves of the fallen military, on the Alley of Glory in the cemetery in the city. Verkhnodniprovsk.
For committing the crime, the police detained a 23-year-old previously convicted resident of the Kamensky district. Also, investigators established his involvement in four thefts from the territory of private households in the village of Aula, Kamensky district.
On July 18, in agreement with the Zhovtovodsk District Prosecutor's Office, the man was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 297 (beating over a grave, other place of burial or over the body of the deceased) and Part 4 of Art. 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
