A criminal organization in the sale of drugs for 1.5 million hryvnias was exposed in the Dnipropetrovsk region
Five persons were informed of their suspicions and selected precautionary measures in the form of detention.
The operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Dnipropetrovsk region, together with the investigators of the police department No. 5 of the Dnipro district department of the regional police and the operatives of the regional department of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police, exposed the criminal activity.
It was established that a 38-year-old resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region established the manufacture and sale of methamphetamine. He attracted four more people to the “business”. Each of the suspects had clear lines of responsibility - control of manufacturing, finding customers and marketing the drug. Production facilities of dealers were equipped in garage premises. They sold “goods” on the territory of the cities of Marganets, Pokrov and Nikopol. The drug business received UAH 1.5 million of “profit”.
Police conducted searches of the places of residence of the defendants and in the territory of the garage premises. During the court-sanctioned measures, blind packages with narcotic-like substances, money in different currencies in the amount of almost 700 thousand hryvnias, a wallet for storing cryptocurrencies, bank cards, flash drives, “rough” records, mobile phones and two cars were seized Li.
The organizer and four accomplices were informed of suspicions under part 1, 2 of article 255 (creation, leadership of a criminal community or criminal organization, as well as participation in it), part 2, 3 of article 27, part 4 of article 28, part 3 of article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation transfer, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
All defendants are currently under arrest without the right to post bail. The investigation continues under the procedural leadership of the Right Bank District Prosecutor's Office.
