In Dnipropetrovsk region, firefighters eliminated 19 fires in ecosystems during the day
Dry, windy weather contributes to the rapid spread of fire over large areas in a short time. Unfortunately, not all people heed the advice of rescuers and continue to burn dry vegetation, causing irreparable damage to nature.
Thus, during the past 24 hours, firefighters of Dnipropetrovsk region were involved 19 times in extinguishing fires in open areas.
Eliminated 15 fires of dry vegetation and 4 fires where debris was the focus.
As a result of these fires, more than 14 hectares of terrestrial ecosystems have been destroyed.
Dear citizens!
Do not ignore the advice of rescuers. Do not set fire to dry vegetation or throw unburned cigarette butts on the ground. At the first sign of a fire, call the Rescue Service at 101.
Employees of the State Emergency Service are forced to leave for dry cleaning, despite the fact that every day they are involved in eliminating the consequences of armed aggression of the Russian Federation and saving people. Rescuers ask citizens not to help the enemy, strictly observe fire safety rules and not to provoke fires in ecosystems.
So it is forbidden:
- to breed open fire in the fields and forest area;
- leave cigarette butts and matches on dry grass bedding;
- burn garbage and plant debris.
