In Dnipropetrovsk region, police exposed a large-scale scheme of evasion from military service
Police officers of the Migration Police documented a number of facts of criminal activities of officials of the territorial recruitment and social support center, who set up an illegal business of manufacturing documents for conscripted men.
The criminal activities of the three defendants were documented by the police departments of the migration police of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region together with the department of criminal analysis. They identified members of the organized crime group - three residents of the Donetsk region - a 35-year-old man and two women aged 29 and 32.
During the investigation, it was established that the defendants organized the production of temporary certificates of military servicemen and certificates of military medical commission on unsuitability for military service with exclusion from military registration. With these documents, men of conscription age had the opportunity to cross the state border of Ukraine without hindrance. Such services cost customers 5 thousand US dollars.
At the moment, all three defendants have received reports of suspicion under the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 3 of Art. 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine)
- Part 5 of Art. 426-1 (exceeding power or official authority by a military official)
- Part 2 of Art. 369 (offer, promise or provision of improper benefits to an official)
- Part 3 of Art. 358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps).
Investigative activities took place together with investigators of the territorial department of the SBI, located in the city. Kramatorsk, under the procedural direction of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the eastern region.
