In deoccupied territories, fires in ecosystems are especially dangerous
So, recently, the Nikolaev firefighters had to tame such a fire. It burned dry between two villages in Mykolaiv district, which were initially under occupation, and then were in the gray zone.
Strong gusty winds, the lack of a nearby source of water supply, as well as the detonation of ammunition, which are still many in such an area, contributed to the rapid spread of fire and the flames reached the private sector. There were 7 buildings occupied here, which are currently not in operation.
The units of the State Emergency Service, together with the local fire department, extinguished the fire for about 10 hours. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Dear citizens, be aware and careful, be aware of the danger in mined areas and do not provoke fires in ecosystems. They are difficult to extinguish, and there is also a threat to firefighters who eliminate fires.
