On August 7 at 09:10 the body of a second girl was found, who drowned while swimming on August 4 on the river. Desna near the village. Slobidka Koryukovsky district. The girl's body was recovered by rescuers and handed over to law enforcement. 45 men, 11 units of equipment, 2 boats and 2 UAVs were involved in her search.
Recall that on August 4, at about 19:00 in the Desna River, two girls drowned. The body of the first girl born in 2007 was discovered and raised to the surface on August 6. With the families of the dead, the psychologists of the State Emergency Service are working all days of the search.
Over the past weekend, August 5-6, 28 people died on the water, including 4 children. We urge parents to constantly remind children of the rules of behavior on water bodies, not to leave them unattended. After all, even if the child knows how to swim well, an unpredictable situation may arise when the help of adults will be needed. The State Emergency Service once again appeals to citizens and emphasizes that during rest near water bodies it is prohibited:
●swim in places not designated by local authorities and not equipped for bathing people; ●climb on warning signs, buoys, bayous;
●jump into the water from boats, boats, bridges, structures not designed for this purpose; ●swim alone; ●consume alcoholic beverages before and during bathing ● allow dangerous games in the water, which are associated with restriction of movement of arms and legs;
●bathing children without adult supervision.
