In Chernihiv region, work continues to clear the territory of explosive objects
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of Russian troops by pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the territory of Chernihiv region, 4231 visits have been made to report on the detection of explosive objects and survey of de-occupied settlements.
As a result, 48711 explosive objects were identified, seized and defused, more than 39,000 hectares of the territory of Chernihiv, Nizhyn districts, 236 infrastructure and life support facilities of the population, 22 km of power lines, 222 km of highways and more than 7.5 km of gas pipelines were examined.
In general, pyrotechnic calculations of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Chernihiv region continue to perform tasks on the territory of the region consisting of 41 personnel and 9 units of special equipment. Also, in order to carry out medical support for the implementation of work on the demining of territories, 2 medical calculations are alternated as part of the medical support group, namely 4 personnel and 2 units of equipment.
Work on demining and clearing the area is ongoing.
