In Chernihiv region, border guards together with police found weapons and ammunition
Border guards and police have exposed a man who illegally kept firearms, ammunition and drugs at home.
Law enforcement officers conducted sanctioned searches in private dwellings with the involvement of a dog handler of the Chernihiv border patrol.
As a result, law enforcement officers seized an AKS-74 machine gun with two magazines and a silencer, two smoothbore and pump-action rifles, an F-1 grenade, more than 350 rounds of the above weapon, 200 grams of hunting powder from a 40-year-old resident of Ripkin community of Chernihiv district.
Also, the defendant in the case found a white powdery substance similar to amphetamine, a crushed substance of green color (cannabis) and dried hemp plants.
According to this fact, the National Police entered information in the ERDR under Art. 263, 309 KKU. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.
