In Cherkasy region, an unsettled migrant awaits forced return home
Employees of the Uman Department of the State Health Service in Cherkasy region placed a 38-year-old citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the point of temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons (PTPI).
A foreigner who has been in the status of an illegal migrant for more than 3 years was found in Cherkasy region.
During his visit to Ukraine, he not only extended the permitted period of stay, but also the validity of his passport. He hid in every possible way from the DMS employees and avoided voluntary departure from the country
. For violation of migration legislation, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan is brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 203 KUPap, a fine of UAH 4760 was levied and a decision was made on his forced expulsion from Ukraine.
Since the foreigner has an invalid passport and no desire to leave Ukraine on his own, the court satisfied the migrants' claim for detention and placement in PTPI of an unsettled migrant for a period of up to 6 months.
After identification and registration of documents for return to the country of citizenship, the foreigner is expected to be deported and banned from entering Ukraine for at least 5 years.
