“In the Bakhmut direction, our troops are fighting flawlessly,” — a guard with the nickname “Krafter”
Like many of his comrades, “Krafter” voluntarily joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine after February 24. He staged a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in his hometown, waking up from rocket attacks in the early morning. Now the soldier performs tasks as part of the 3rd Operational Battalion (“Svoboda”) of the Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“When rockets are flying at you and hordes are near you, you can't sit and wait. From my hometown I went to Kiev: I just sat down to the volunteers in the car, not even knowing where exactly fate would throw me. I got into the Svoboda battalion, where I am serving now,” says the guard.
Battle baptism “Krafter” was held in Irpen. After the defense of Kiev and its suburbs, he continued to fight with the invaders in Donetsk region. He is now fighting in the Bakhmut direction.
From the latest achievements of his unit, “Krafter” tells about the successful assault of enemy positions.
“Even the preparation for the assault was difficult: five hours in the cold rain, through the swamps, we approached their positions imperceptibly. And although we were already quite exhausted by that time, we realized that we still had to carry out the assault. It was morally supported by the fact that our commander “Scythian” went into battle. When a commander personally goes into battle with his warriors, it is worth a lot. And then, and in Severodonetsk, he pulled us out of extremely difficult situations, so I did not doubt the success,” says Krafter.
Our warriors managed to knock the enemy out of position and take the defense.
“In the Bakhmut direction, our troops are fighting flawlessly — if it were otherwise, the enemy would have captured the city a long time ago. This is the tireless work of intelligence, infantry, artillery, and logistics, but it can not be otherwise - no one is going to surrender.”
