Maritime border guards met with children who were forced to leave their homes
The event took place in Odessa region in the self-organized student space of Izmail Charitable Foundation “Caritas Odessa UGCC”.
The seafarers demonstrated their equipment and equipment to young Ukrainians and told about the peculiarities of their service training.
The children did not hide their admiration for the equipment and armor of the military. The little one tried on body armor and helmets, and everyone had the opportunity to take a photo together with the defenders for a long memory.
Subsequently, during the presentation of videos about the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine, children and their parents got acquainted with the types of weapons, life and training process of the defenders of the maritime borders with interest. Parents were also happy to join informal communication and wanted to learn many details from the life and service of maritime border guards.
To support our defenders and thank them for their courage and resilience, the children presented the border guards with drawings depicting how they see their service. The border guards almost thanked the little ones and treated the little guests with goodies.
The event was also attended by representatives of the NGO “Rotary Club Izmail”, who congratulated the children on the holidays and wished them a peaceful future.
“Earlier, for the New Year we wanted miracles, fairy tales, gifts... Today, one wish for everyone — Victory! To no longer hear about war, explosions and losses. And no more miracles are needed!” - say the children.
