International Forum of Young Scientists Held in Dnipro

The event entitled “Modern Research in a Globalized World: Science for Peace and Security” was initiated by the Council of Young Scientists of the educational institution with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and international partners.

The forum was opened and congratulated its participants by the Vice-Rector of the mentioned university, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Larysa Nalyvaiko.

More than 150 participants participated in the active discussion. Among them are delegates from international institutions, organizations (from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Italy, Portugal), representatives of state authorities of Ukraine, human rights and law enforcement agencies, scientists of domestic higher education institutions.

During the forum, participants outlined new challenges regarding human trafficking and exploitation during martial law, highlighted topical issues of the functioning of the notary during the war. A lively discussion was provoked by the speech of the Head of the Main Department of the State Migration Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region Bohdan Chegil about the problems of the stay of foreigners and stateless persons in our country.

Particular attention at the forum was paid to familiarization with international experience. In particular, in matters of preventing and countering discrimination, as well as in the context of the peculiarities of training and training of police officers in European countries. Participants were presented with a Lithuanian model of mediation in administrative disputes.
