International Children's Day: they are our future
International Children's Day is a painful echo of World War II. It was founded in 1949 to draw the attention of the world community to children left without parents and homes as a result of the merciless war.
This day, more than ever, is important for all of Ukraine, because almost 100 days of war has been going on, which has destroyed the lives of millions of small Ukrainians. A war continues, which has led to terrible consequences that have not been seen since the Second World War.
Due to Russian aggression, Ukraine has already lost 243 small Ukrainians. Another 446 children were injured that will not let them forget this war.
Today, employees of all bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs give their love and care to the little Ukrainians, making every effort to protect them and restore peace in Ukraine as soon as possible.
We must do everything possible so that children can enjoy life in a world where there is no place for violence.
