Last day Kharkiv police responded to 1404 citizens' statements and reports of offenses
The enemy continues to use missiles and barrel artillery against the civilian population of Kharkiv region and border communities. The officers of the investigative and operational teams and forensic experts last day processed 15 facts of destruction of dwellings and other objects in the region due to shelling and fires.
In order to prevent illegal weapons and drugs from entering settlements at checkpoints, law enforcement officers together with military personnel checked more than 4500 vehicles. On suspicion of involvement in sabotage and reconnaissance groups and in carrying out propaganda activities, more than 85 people were brought to territorial units for verification.
Police officers actively detect and investigate criminal crimes on a daily basis. Last day, during the examination of the territory of the city and the region, the police discovered 3 facts of illegal drug trafficking. Narcotic substances were seized from the violators.
The police identified 5 facts of driving vehicles in a state of alcohol intoxication, administrative protocols were drawn up for violators under Art. 130 kUPap.
Every day, police officers take care of the safety and social protection of residents of the city and region, provide food and basic necessities to residents of de-occupied settlements, help citizens to evacuate from dangerous areas.
Work continues on the survey and demining of settlements. Employees of the Explosive Service of the National Police of Ukraine with the beginning of the de-occupation measures surveyed the territory with a total area of about 1,923.7 hectares. 26,380 explosive items were seized, 4,349 were destroyed.
Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine carry out measures to register war crimes in liberated settlements. Since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, 3128 war crimes have been registered, of which the most under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) — 2746, under Article 111-1 (collaborative activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — 324 and others.
