Last day police officers of Kharkiv region processed 1399 reports from citizens about offenses and events

Employees of investigative and operational teams recorded 10 incidents of damage to houses and other structures during the day due to shelling and fires. Criminal proceedings have been opened.

In order to prevent illegal weapons and drugs from entering settlements at checkpoints, law enforcement officers together with military personnel inspected 4,200 vehicles. The personnel of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region on suspicion of involvement in sabotage and intelligence groups and in carrying out propaganda activities brought 30 people to the territorial units for verification.

Every day, police officers take care of the safety and social protection of residents of the city and the region, provide food and basic necessities to de-occupied settlements, help citizens to evacuate from dangerous areas. About 5 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered by police officers to the liberated city of Izyum, Kharkiv region. Police officers, along with volunteers, distributed 260 grocery kits to locals. Also, multifunctional electric beds were transferred to the Izyum Hospital.

Police units resumed their work in the liberated territories. Police officers ensure public security and order in 9 areas of de-occupation: Balakleysky, Kupyansk, Izyum, Zolochiv, Lipetsk, Volchansky, Chuguivsky, Velikoburlutsky, Borovsk.

Work continues on the survey and demining of settlements. Employees of the Explosive Service of the National Police of Ukraine with the beginning of the de-occupation measures surveyed the territory with a total area of about 1478.95 hectares. 23,474 explosive items were seized, 2271 destroyed.

Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine carry out measures to register war crimes in liberated settlements. In total, since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, 1601 war crimes have been registered, of which the most under Art. 438 Criminal Code of Ukraine — 1421, according to Art. 111-1 Criminal Code of Ukraine — 154 and others.
