Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko presented state awards to special officers of the Transcarpathian police
During his working visit to Transcarpathia, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko awarded the medals “Defender of the Fatherland” of Transcarpathian policemen, who faithfully protect the state and the Ukrainian people from Russian invaders. The state awards were received by the fighters of the Special Purpose Police Company and the Rapid Action Corps.
During the meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies of the region, the Minister presented state awards to the employees of the special units of the Transcarpathian police, who faithfully defended the Ukrainian lands and the people of Ukraine from the Russian occupier.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, five soldiers of the Rapid Action Corps and two Special Purpose Police Companies of the GUNP in the Transcarpathian region were awarded medals “Defender of the Fatherland” for personal courage and dedication.
Each of them, from the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, took up arms and fearlessly defended their native land.
