Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko awarded employees of communication units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Today, May 15, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the communication units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system in the capital, the Forum “Communication and interaction of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the war” started.
The event was attended by the communication teams of the departments that make up the Ministry, as well as representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, NATO, the UN, the Council of Europe, the EMCDDA and others.
In a welcoming speech, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko stressed that the work of the communication units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the war is very important. Despite the constant challenges, the purpose of the communication units of the department remains unchanged — to highlight information that can affect the safety of citizens:
“Each central executive body must understand and each ministry and department how communication will be carried out, at one level or another. And the main thing is that we carry truthful information,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
For exemplary performance of official duties, significant contribution to the development of military journalism, coverage of information in conditions of martial law, active participation in the use of information technologies to ensure the fight against aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko awarded employees of the communication units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs awards and valuable gifts.
In addition, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received awards from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko said that he wants all the communicators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system to soon write one of the most important articles with the title “Ukraine has won!”
