The Minister of the Interior supported the resignation of the Commander of the National Guard
The Minister of Internal Affairs supported the resignation of the Commander of the National Guard and forwarded the report to the President of Ukraine for a decision.
“This is the work of a real officer. Mykola Balan's report will be supported by me and sent to the President of Ukraine for a decision. At the same time, I submitted a submission to the President of Ukraine on the appointment of Deputy Commander-General of the NGU Lieutenant General Yuri Lebedi as acting commander,” Denis Monastyrsky wrote on his Facebook page.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also said that all units of the National Guard continue to perform their tasks in the regular mode.
Also, by order of the Minister, a study will be carried out on the conditions in which all conscripts in the National Guard and the State Border Service will serve.
