Nikolaev police stopped the activity of interregional online porn studios with a monthly profit of about million hryvnias
The work of the studios was organized by a 47-year-old resident of the regional center. It also employed two administrators and about 30 “models” who showed clients naked body parts and simulated sexual acts in real time, for which they received cash. As a result of a series of searches, the police seized computer equipment, webcams, mobile phones, rough records, as well as about UAH 200,000 and $3,000.
The illegal activities of online porn studios in which the production and distribution of pornographic products were carried out were stopped by the employees of the Migration Police Department together with the investigators of the Special Crimes Investigation Department (detectives) of the Investigative Department and the specialists of criminal analysis with the strong support of the soldiers of the special police company appointment of the regional head of police.
During the pre-trial investigation, the police established that a 47-year-old resident of Nikolaev organized an illegal business, in her criminal activities she involved two women, 41 and 44 years old, who performed the work of administrators.
The attackers specially rented office premises, which were equipped with the appropriate interior, computer equipment, webcams and the Internet. Girls were sought among those who, due to life circumstances, were ready to follow their instructions. In real time, the so-called models showed clients naked body parts and simulated acts of a sexual nature for which they received money, and in total their working day could be more than 16 hours.
For a month, each of the girls could earn about two thousand US dollars, and the organizer herself made a profit of about 400 thousand hryvnias every month.
During the searches that took place in the territory of Mykolaiv region, Odessa and Kiev regions, police officers seized computer equipment, mobile phones, draft records, as well as cash, including those prepared for payments to girls, in the amount of about 200,000 hryvnias and 3000 dollars received as a result of the crime activities.
To the organizer and two of her accomplices, the investigating police reported the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 3 of Art. 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - production, distribution of pornographic video products for the purpose of sale committed by a group of persons according to a preliminary conspiracy. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years in prison.
In the near future, the court will choose preventive measures for the defendants.
A pre-trial investigation is underway, during which the full circle of persons involved in the commission of the specified criminal offense will be established, and a legal assessment of the actions is provided, taking into account the role of each.
