Migrants from Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkey: 89 violators in Kyiv region exposed
During the week, during the complex preventive measures “Migrant”, specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kiev region identified 89 violators from the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Turkey. 29 of them are illegal migrants. Regarding them, 25 decisions were made on forced return from Ukraine and four - on expulsion from the territory of our state.
According to the State Migration Service, Kyiv and the region have always been leaders in Ukraine in the number of unsettled migrants detected. This is easily explained by the wider opportunities for foreigners in search of earnings. The war did not change the mood of illegal migrants, so Kiev, even in the face of constant enemy shelling, remains desirable for many foreigners.
The practical phase of Operation Migrant will last in Ukraine until December 22. The Migration Service, together with the SBU and units of the National Police, are planning further inspections of markets, construction sites and entertainment venues in order to identify illegal migrants.
