Migration officers explained which document confirms the information about the place of residence of the person
So, the document confirming the relevant information is an extract from the register of the territorial community.
Such a document is issued by the registration authority or the center for the provision of administrative services in paper form at the request of the person declaring/registering the place of residence (stay), the owner (co-owners) of the dwelling, the legal representative (representative) of the person or the owner (co-owner) of the dwelling, the authorized person of the dwelling, and the property holder or the trust owner.
The subject of the application for an extract can also apply through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services “Diia”.
Extracts from the register of the territorial community, received in electronic or paper form, have the same legal force.
To confirm the information about the place of residence (stay) registered before the entry into force of Law No. 1871-IX, a person may submit information about the place of residence entered into:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine, made in the form of a book;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine or passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad in the form of an e-passport or e-passport for traveling abroad;
- extract from the register of the territorial community.
IMPORTANT! Due to the adoption by the Government on February 7, 2022 of Resolution No. 265 “Some issues of declaration and registration of place of residence and maintenance of registers of territorial communities”, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 2, 2016 No. 207 “On Approval of the Rules for Registration of Residence and the Procedure for Transferring Information by Registration Bodies to the Unified State Register” has ceased to be effective State Demographic Register”.
Thus, in particular, the certificate of registration of the place of residence of the person, as well as the certificate of removal from registration of the place of residence, the forms of which were given in Annexes 13, 16, respectively, to the Rules of registration of the place of residence, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 2, 2016 No. 207, have also ceased to be valid.
