The migration service introduces a new service for affixing the apostille on official documents: what you should know
The State Migration Service of Ukraine has introduced an administrative service for affixing the apostille on official documents.
So, in particular, you can put an apostille on the document issued by the DMS, its terrorists and other units.
To obtain a new service, you need to provide the following documents:
• application from the person submitting the documents;
• the original of the document on which the apostille is affixed;
• document on payment for apostille affixing service.
Pay attention! The apostille is not affixed to the originals:
• identity documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine;
• identity documents confirming its special status;
• other certificates issued in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
The apostille is affixed only on copies/photocopies of such documents.
The apostille is also not affixed to regulatory acts, explanations and legal conclusions on their application, documents having the nature of correspondence.
Application and documents for apostillation are sent by mail to: ul. Volodymyrska, 9, m. Kiev, 01001.
In the case of submission of documents by a representative of an individual, documents confirming his authority are provided.
Note that the service is paid and amounts to three non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (as of 10.07.2023 it is 51 UAH). And the deadline for consideration of documents is up to 10 working days from the date of receipt of the application by the DMS and the documents necessary for affixing the apostille.
