Migration Service of Ukraine restores documents to victims of missile strike in Uman
On April 28, 2023, Natalia, a Cherkash resident, was imprinted for life: in the morning a Russian rocket hit her house in Uman and “penetrated” the apartment of a 37-year-old woman on the 7th floor.
From under the rubble, Natalia was able to get out on her own and reach the balcony, then the rescuers lowered the woman to the ground and gave her to the doctors for examination. Natalia lost everything: housing, valuables and documents. But she gained remarkable faith in the miracle, because she remained alive.
Natalia came to the Uman department of the UDMS in Cherkasy region to recover the lost passport. Like all other victims of the missile strike in Uman, the woman was accepted first and a new document will be issued as a matter of urgency.
Now Natalia is undergoing treatment and recovering from what she experienced in order to soon return to work at the lyceum, where she works as an English teacher.
We sympathize with all Ukrainians who have suffered from the terrorist actions of the Russians and have lost their loved ones.
