The migration service explains how to pick up documents in the migration service unit while abroad
If you are abroad and did not have time to receive a foreign passport or ID-card ordered from the State Migration Service in a timely manner, then it is possible to pick up these documents through foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
Currently, there is a mechanism for sending passports from one territorial unit of the migration service to any in another region of Ukraine, as well as through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to foreign diplomatic institutions and representative offices of the Citizen Service Center “Passport Service” located abroad.
To obtain a passport abroad, you should contact the foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine with an application for obtaining a passport or ID card in the country of residence. The application should be addressed to the territorial unit of the State Tax Service in Ukraine in which this document was drawn up.
It should be noted that the receipt of the document delivered to the diplomatic institution is carried out only under the condition of the personal presence of the applicant or his legal representative (for children under 16 years of age). Delivery of the document to the institution is carried out by means of diplomatic mail and lasts from 3 months.
