This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs during a working trip to the south-eastern regions of Ukraine.
Igor Klymenko visited the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and policemen who are at the forefront - on the border with the temporarily occupied territory. Heard a report on the operational situation in the area of hostilities and the course of evacuation measures carried out by police officers.
In addition, the Minister of Internal Affairs visited the training of the operational task brigade “Kara-Dag”. Here, the National Guardsmen hone, in particular, maneuvers and shooting. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, the brigade's personnel have been defending Ukrainian borders in Zaporizhzhia, destroying enemy armored vehicles, aviation and live forces. The brigade “Kara-Dag” is part of the “Guard of the Offensive”.
“The units of the National Guard of Ukraine are those units that from February 24 to 27 last year stopped enemy troops in the direction of Vasilyevka-Zaporizhia, Tokmak-Orikhiv. And they continue to defend our borders together with the Defense Forces,” the Minister of Internal Affairs said.
Another brigade from the “Guard of the Offensive” visited by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is the combined assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Fury”. Igor Klymenko got acquainted with the conditions of training of fighters, in particular, discussed the issue of technical equipment. The main tasks of “Fury” are the repulse and deterrence of armed aggression, assault actions, neutralization of DRG, air reconnaissance and destruction of the enemy.
“Appropriate training sites, points of permanent deployment of our units are equipped. Combat training and instructors who conduct training of our units - at a very high level” - said Igor Klymenko
During the working trip, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine presented the servicemen with state awards and honors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The morale of our fighters is high enough. They are resilient and understand what they need to do, how to keep the front. We are already coordinating the use of military equipment, which is necessary, including for offensive and offensive actions,” the Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
