We inform the entire European community as much as possible about the horrors committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine
This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin on the air of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon.
“Literally every day we continue to find victims of Russian war crimes. We are trying to identify as quickly as possible the bodies of our fellow citizens, sometimes the bodies of Russian servicemen who were not evacuated by the occupying forces. We are attracting the maximum number of forensic experts and are doing everything possible to bury our dead as soon as possible,” said the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Yevgeny Yenin also noted that thanks to cooperation with partners from the United States, specific private companies, all available methods for investigating war crimes are available to us. “We were able to record all traces of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation, preserving the picture of crimes for further judicial processes.
This work does not prevent our rescuers from dismantling the rubble of destroyed buildings,” he said.
Separately, Yevgeny Yenin stopped at the assistance of Western partners in the investigation of Russian war crimes.
“At the moment, American and European experts are quite widely involved, both in the investigation of crimes and in carrying out restoration work. Firefighters and rescuers from the United States, Poland, Sweden have already arrived and are working with our teams. We are also waiting for specialist explosives technicians and forensics from Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. All of them help us to carry out all the proper examinations and all this, of course, adds a level of confidence to these examinations,” the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs summed up.
