We clearly believe and know that victory is coming soon, - Igor Klymenko
This was emphasized by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during the awarding of state and departmental awards to 96 servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine who performed tasks in the East of the country and participated in the defense of Kyiv.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Igor Klymenko awarded the defenders the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytsky III degree, “For Courage” of the II and III degree, as well as medals “For Military Service to Ukraine”, “Defender of the Fatherland” and “For Life Saved”.
Before the start of the award ceremony, Igor Klymenko remembered the defenders who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine. The memory of the dead soldiers was honored with a minute of silence.
“We pay a great tribute for the freedom of our country. Many of our colleagues have died. I wish each of you to save your life and protect your comrades who are near,” the minister addressed the defenders.
After presenting the awards, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked the servicemen and emphasized that their actions bring them closer to victory:
“I want to thank you for the service, steadfastness and loyalty to the oath that each of you has shown since the first days of this war. Despite the difficulties, we clearly believe and know that victory is soon.”
