This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during the inclusion in the live broadcast of the TV marathon “United News” from the city of Krakow in Poland.

Krakow and Gdansk have become two more Polish cities where mobile passport centers of SE “Dokument” operate. Previously, such a service was provided to Ukrainians only in Warsaw. The expansion of the network is an urgent need, since, as Yevgeny Yenin noted, only in the first days of the large-scale aggression of the Russian Federation about 7 million Ukrainian citizens left abroad.

“In the early days of the invasion, many people, thanks to the friendly support of our partners, were able to cross the border for photocopies or photocopies of documents. But while in Poland or other partner countries, they were faced with the inability to obtain any social guarantees, to use educational or medical services of the EU member states. That is why the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs initiated the expansion of the possibilities of documenting our citizens outside the state. The government supported the initiative — and for more than three months the foreign representative offices of State Enterprise “Dokument” have been working in Warsaw. And now we are in Krakow, where we observe the work of eight mobile points at the same time,” said the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to him, such a number of mobile passport centers can serve up to 300-350 people per day. The queue is formed, both online and live. Yevhenii Yenin stressed that work is ongoing on expanding the list of services provided by foreign representative offices of SE “Dokument”, improving logistics, simplifying procedures and their duration.

The First Deputy Minister said that negotiations are underway to expand the network of foreign units of the Ukrainian Migration Agency not only in Poland, but also in a number of other countries. And we are talking not only about mobile, but also about stationary centers.

“While staying with the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Natalia Naumenko in the Czech Republic, we agreed on this with the Czech authorities. Likewise, Germany and Turkey await us. The thing is small — we need to increase the number of specialized beads that can work in such a remote way. And in the future, we plan to open offices, as it is today in Warsaw, where 28 workstations operate at the same time,” Yevhenii Yenin said.

In turn, Natalia Naumenko stressed that the process of agreements with different countries is easy, because the partners are interested in ensuring that citizens of Ukraine have passport documents.

“During consultations with our partners, the State Migration Service of Ukraine strives to include in all processes involving our citizens on the territory of the European Union, so as not to lose contact with them, to know what is happening to them, what problems they are facing, how Ukraine can help them,” the head of the SMS of Ukraine stressed.
