The medical service of the National Guard of Ukraine provides assistance at the first level of NATO
“Today, the medical service of the National Guard of Ukraine, in accordance with its capabilities, has organized the provision of medical care at the first level — according to NATO ROLE-1. This is emergency medical care, pre-medical care and first aid,” he said.
In the future, Tregub added, fighters receive secondary qualified assistance already in mobile military hospitals of the Ministry of Defense, in health facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the regions, as well as in certain institutions of the Ministry of Health and in the military hospital of the National Guard.
As the official noted, the doctors of the department were trained at the Training Center of the National Guard under the program “combat medic platoon”, which was introduced with the participation of the Joint Operational and Tactical Group in Ukraine (Operation UNIFIER).
