The United States Air Force and Marine Corps Trials 2024 is a competition for servicemen and veterans who have been injured and injured. This year, the fighters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs take part in them.

Thus, on the fifth day of the United States Air Force and Marine Corps Trials, held in Las Vegas, Ukraine took part in the first athletics disciplines.
Soldiers and veterans who suffered injuries competed in running for different distances. “Blue and Yellow” won 14 medals during the day.
Two Ukrainians — policeman Alan Boliev and national guard Igor Panchuk — won three times in their races. Boliev finished first in the 100, 800 and 1500 m distances in the 6.0 category (no visible injuries), and Panchuk won “gold” in the 100, 200 and 400 m in category 5.5L (lower limb impairment).
Moreover, at the 400-meter mark, Igor Panchuk set the record of Warrior Games, for which he is selected during the tournament of the Air Force and Marine Corps. The Ukrainian was the first in the history of such competitions to run from one minute, showing a time of 57.52 s. The previous record was 1:13 min.
In addition, the fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Kiyashko completed the competitive day with three awards. He has two “silver” and “bronze”.
In total, the national team of Ukraine consists of 30 participants — veterans and servicemen, who compete in 11 adaptive sports:
— swimming;
— cycling;
— basketball on wheelchairs;
— Volleyball sitting;
— rugby on trolleys;
— archery;
— powerlifting;
— running;
— pushing the core/throwing disc;
— rowing;
— bullet shooting.
