Large-scale fire in Mykolaiv region: burning 20 hectares of Andreevsky forest tract (VIDEO)
On August 21, a large-scale fire broke out again on the territory of the Andreevsky forestry. This time, the fire covered a considerable area and spread to forest plantations.
As of 15:00 the estimated area of combustion is 20 hectares.
85 firefighters, 14 units of equipment are currently involved in the liquidation from the SNS. Foresters are also involved in extinguishing the fire. Monitoring of the situation is carried out using quadrocopters with the involvement of an ATV.
Since the beginning of the year, 36 forest fires have been registered in the region, with a total area of almost 50 hectares. Last week there were fires on the territory of Balabanivsky, Voskresensky, twice Balovno-Matvievsky and Andreyevsky forest tracts.
In open areas since the beginning of the year there have been 1055 fires, the total area of the fires amounted to 1389 hectares.
