Massive shelling: 10 thousand square meters of fires were extinguished by rescuers, and 50 psychologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided assistance to 700 Ukrainians
10,000 square meters - this is the total area of fires in Kiev due to a massive rocket attack on January 2. Fires occurred in Podolsk, Solomensky, Svyatoshyn, Pechersk, Desnyansk, Obolonsky and Holosiivskyi districts.
Almost 300 rescuers and more than 50 units of equipment worked to eliminate all the fires.
When a person experiences such a tragedy, it is very important to immediately stabilize his psycho-emotional state. That is why psychologists work at the scene. According to First Lady Elena Zelenska, on December 29 and January 2, after the massive attacks, assistance was provided to almost 700 Ukrainians on time. 50 psychologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service were involved in the work. All of them underwent appropriate training within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program.
“This is the formula of our resilience - mutual assistance, community action. I am grateful to everyone who saved people in these days after the terror of the enemy. Both physically and mentally”, - emphasized Elena Zelenskaya.
