The mechanized demining machine from the Howard Buffett Foundation helps to liberate the deoccupied territories of Kharkiv region
On the liberated de-occupied territory of the Kharkiv region, 34 pyrotechnic calculations of the erected detachment of the State Emergency Service are working daily. They step by step release fields and power lines contaminated with enemy explosive objects. In order to speed up this process and protect personnel, the Howard Buffett Foundation purchased special mechanized demining machines for the SNS.
One of these cars, namely the MV-10, is currently operating in the Izyum district of Kharkiv region. It greatly facilitates the work of pyrotechnics, because it is able to clear minefields of various types: with anti-infantry and anti-tank mines, and also destroys unexploded ammunition. The operators of this machine are sappers of the Nikolaev garrison of the State Emergency Service. They are very satisfied with the performance and quality of its work.
It is the most powerful system in its category. At the heart of the complex is a chain tool, under the action of which anti-infantry and anti-tank mines are fired. Also, the machine has a cultivator that performs secondary processing and maintains a constant loosening depth. Among the additional equipment are roller, blade and harvesting blocks. The MV-10 is operated by a single operator using a remote control. The maximum depth of soil cleaning is 60 cm.
The use of mechanized demining machines at power lines allows power companies to start restoring the network so that people who have not had electricity for more than a year can get it as soon as possible.
