Martin Harris inspected the DPSU units guarding the border in Chernihiv region
Recently, British Ambassador Martin Harris visited the positions of Ukrainian border guards in Chernihiv region.
The head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Major General Serhiy Deineko told Mr. Martin Harris about the situation on the border with Russia and Belarus, as well as the measures of the border agency to protect and defend the state border.
In attendance, Serhiy Deyneko thanked the UK Government for their help in strengthening the capabilities of the Border Agency.
In turn, Martin Harris noted the contribution of border guards to the fight against the aggressor:
“You protect not only the borders of your country, you protect the whole of Europe, you defend the principles of international peace, international law. Your service is an inspiration to us.”
