Almost a hundred employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine participated in blood donation
“Your blood can fight” - under this slogan, on June 7, in the Central Polyclinic of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a collection of donor blood took place.
In a full-scale war, blood is one of the essential elements for saving human lives, both military and civilian. So almost a hundred willing donors joined the good cause so that their blood could save someone's life.
The procedure did not take long, and before the delivery process, each participant was treated with sweet tea, blood pressure was measured and blood group was determined. Then 10 minutes in the supine position and 450 ml of blood are ready for collection.
Being a blood donor is not only responsible, but also beneficial for your own health. After all, people who donate blood every six months or a year have a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease.
