During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 126 times, 521 explosive items were detected, seized and neutralized, an area of 359.52 hectares was surveyed.
Often, sappers suffer injuries, in particular, lose limbs, as a result of dangerous demining work. However, for almost six months now, the robotic complex DIGITAL VANGUARD-S has been helping pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to deport the territories of Donetsk region.
The DIGITAL VANGUARD-S complex reduces the risks associated with the danger to the life and health of the sapper during operation. With it, it is much easier and safer for pyrotechnic groups to conduct reconnaissance, remotely defuse munitions, and perform other actions at a distance.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 432 thousand 861 explosive objects and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 096 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 96 thousand 375 hectares was surveyed.
