A future police officer detained an aggressive bully who attacked women and children
In Dnipro, near the supermarket on Gagarin Avenue, a man in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication threw himself at passers-by with a stick, loudly swore, threatened physical abuse. Anastasia Glushko, a cadet of the Faculty of Criminal Police of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, witnessed the incident.
At about 19 o'clock the girl returned home from the store. Hearing screams, she ran to the company of people who quarreled among themselves. One of the men drunkenly tried to take away a bag of food from a soldier, behaving aggressively.
The DDUBS cadet immediately called the patrolmen and tried to calm the intruder, informing that she was from the police. In response, he began to behave even more brazenly: he took a stick out of the garbage can and waved it at passing women and children.
And here Anastasia was not confused - she ran up from behind and pulled the stick out of the attacker's hands.
“I understood that we had to act quickly and decisively. She remembered the techniques of tactical-special and special physical training, - says the cadet. “I had to do everything possible to protect others from the aggressor before the arrival of the patrolmen.”
The girl had a gas cylinder. And applying it, it was possible to tame the attacker faster. However, the cadet did not do this for the safety of people, in particular children, who were nearby. She continued to calm the bully for 10 minutes before the police arrived.
After the arrival of the patrol cadet explained to them the circumstances of the incident. The offender was taken to the city police department. No one was injured during the detention.
